Revolution Mission Crash Pad

Product Description

Continuing a long and proud tradition, we consider this to be the sixth generation of the legendary Large Cordless Crash Pad. The Mission Pad has everything you should expect from a top of the line crash pad and a whole lot more. We've made some slight changes to the dimensions for more efficient use of foam and fabric. We've also made modifications to the closure system to make it more versatile.

Due to Customer feedback we've discontinued the Velcro closure system. Climbers found that in some areas the Velcro would pick up dirt and dead leaves, leaving the pad in an unsightly mess. We've gone to metal buckles and flaps. Simple, secure and unbreakable.

One size doesn't always fit all, so we've also added the ability to change the height of the backpack strap.

The Mission, Revolution’s sixth generation version of the original Cordless Large Pad, provides climbers with the same great landing surface you have come to expect from Revolution, with many welcome features. Gone is the Velcro closure system which although convenient was a magnet for leaves, dirt and other debris. Instead, Revolution has replaced the Velcro with a simple two buckle design which incorporates three flaps, helping to secure loose items within the folded “taco” design. The top flap opens revealing a sizable “stash pocket” great for securing keys, brushes and other bouldering necessities.

New this year is Revolution’s adjustable suspension system, allowing the climber to adjust the torso length and ride height of the Mission. This is great news for those who live in heavily vegetative areas where there are low tree branches on the trail making a pad with a higher ride height cumbersome.

Double briefcase straps allow for easy carrying between problems and the 3.5” of dual density foam provides  ample cushioning on heel shattering falls. The large surface area (48”x41”) made of ballistic nylon is a refreshing site on taller problem, but one favorite feature of this pad is the ability to secure the flap over the suspension system, keeping it dry and relatively clean when bouldering over muddy landings.
