Nalle Hukkataival Roping up in Spain
Nalle, primarily known for his powerful bouldering, has managed to nab the second ascent of Duele la Realidad (8c+), a powerful sport line put up by Marcus Bock in the Oliana region.
As the winter temperatures and large amounts of snow and rain have shut down most climbable areas the only refuge seems to be in the large cave mouths of Santa Linya and Cataluña. Nalle Hukkataival recently joined the crew of strong climbers in the Cataluña region as they continue to work the areas hardest sports routes. Nalle was able to make the 2nd ascent of Duele la Realidad, a short Markus Bock line that clocks in at 8c+ in the region of Oliana.
Nalle is currently working a line that Chris Sharma bolted last season just to the right of Duele la Realidad. The psyche level is high in the area and everyone seems to be waiting for the weather to slow so they can work on FRFM (First-Round, First-Minute) the new “Sharma Super Project” that can be seen at www.bigupproductions.com
